This is one of the shortest and easiest blogs I’ve ever written. In these unique and trying times, I find myself and Nozomi Networks being asked to comment on or share our position on what’s happening in Ukraine. Do we have a presence in Russia and what are we doing to help Ukraine?
First, we do not have a presence in or do business with Russia. Based on what we’ve seen these past few weeks, I think it’s safe to say we won’t be there anytime soon.
Nozomi Networks values are about being a unified team—doing everything we can for the success of our customers. We treat people with respect and value that in return. We will not do business in a country that clearly lacks these values. At Nozomi Networks, we stand for doing the right thing. We cannot stand by and condone what the Russian leadership is doing. If we had a presence in Russia, we would most certainly have ceased operations. We as a company completely and without reservation denounce what Russia is doing to Ukraine and although we are not a political company, we believe in doing what is right. And what Russia is doing is really far from right—it is outright criminal in my opinion.
We stand with Ukraine. We support their efforts to remain independent. We are looking for any additional way possible to help our customers and partners in Ukraine and around the world. We will continue to help our customers protect themselves from the potential cybersecurity risks that may come as retaliation for the actions taken by the United States and our allies. We continue to offer any organization that may need additional layers of security free access to our solutions for as long as the situation requires it. It’s the least we can do to help secure our country and our critical infrastructure from unsolicited attacks.
Like I said, this is one of the easiest blogs I’ve ever written. It’s not hard to do what is right and support those impacted by what is wrong.
