In the summer of 2024, Paris hosted almost 14,000 athletes and over 11 million spectators for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. To prepare for these threats, ANSSI, the French Cyber regulator work with selected cyber partners including France-based MSSP Advens and solutions from Nozomi Networks. The team of cybersecurity experts had just under six months to successfully, design, deploy, test and manage a cybersecurity program to safeguard the water systems, event venues, roadways, housing facilities and other critical infrastructure supporting the Olympics from cyberattacks.
